It's hard coming up with a newspaper illustration when we don't know what the fuck we're supposed to illustrate for. We get to know it like a few hours before deadline, and then it'd be too late. Next week we'll be notified a few days ahead though.
Competing with the rest of the class against who gets their illustration printed in a student newspaper. It's a two-week contest. I chose to go with something that could be interpreted however you want, or could be used for any kind of discussion. The key sentence here is "Taking the words right out of your mouth". Didn't turn out as cool as I'd hoped, but at least I didn't mess up the save file this time, so I could go back and change it if I wish.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
